Brewing Quality Entrepreneurs (BQe)

Brewing Quality Youth Entrepreneur Association (Reg: PPBM 7754/11) is a not-for-profit youth NGO registered with the Registrar of Youths in Malaysia. We were formed officially in the month of September 2011 after being an active youth movement since August 2010, organizing regular complimentary events and catering to the needs of the youth entrepreneurs in Malaysia by providing talks and workshops. I founded this movement with an initial attendance of only 6 people who came   for our very first session, BQe currently host about 70-100 people at our monthly sessions.

Our members are volunteers and we are active among institute of higher learning in Malaysia targeting the development of entrepreneurship among the students. BQe works with organizations at university level to provide support to the entrepreneurial minds in assisting them to become an entrepreneur.

Our Aim

• Encourage entrepreneurship among youths mainly in universities
• Develop innovation and impart entrepreneurial skills among university students and youths
• Provide a sharing and networking platform for future entrepreneurs
• Bridge the gap among university students with VCs and entrepreneur support

Our MISSION

To bridge the gap between aspiring entrepreneurs from tertiary education level with entrepreneurial support either from the government or private sector or given access to private funding in Malaysia with proper empowerment and imparting of skills.

Our VISION

To see more youth entrepreneurs from university level driving the nation forward as SME owners and to create more businesses and job opportunities in Malaysia.

What Do WE DO

BQe organizes monthly complimentary talks and workshops to the youth entrepreneurs as the following:

BQe Inspire:  1-Hour Inspirational Talks Held Every First Tuesday of the Month

BQe Learn:  2-Hour Learning Workshops Held monthly on Saturday Mornings providing entrepreneurship training modules and business 101 tools  

OUR ACHIEVEMENT

Successfully organizing the BQe Youth Entrepreneurship Summit 2011 in November 2011 together with MSC Malaysia. We managed to gather over 250 youth entrepreneurs in Cyberjaya to attend a one-day summit that promotes entrepreneurship. Do visit www.thebigbrew.bqe.my for more information.
